Frequently Asked Questions

  • Absolutely! If you and your partner love each other, I am happy to photograph your wedding!

  • After you reach out regarding a photoshoot and we decide on a date, choosing a location is part of our brainstorming. I have a few favourite spots that I can suggest based on your specifications. This may include if anyone in your family has mobility concerns, a spot that is sentimental to you, or where the fall colours are in full bloom.

  • A second shooter is another photographer that acts as my assistant and second set of eyes (and lenses) for the busiest parts of your wedding day. A second shooter is included in all of my wedding packages and may be worth considering for an elopement day as well. Most of the time, the second shooter will be a woman named Tasha, who I have worked with for over 8 years. Weddings can come with a variety of bumps along the way, but Tasha and I have weathered many hiccups. Together, we will create timeless wedding photos you will look forward to hanging in your home!

  • I don’t put a limit on how many photos you receive in your gallery. For family or couple photo sessions you can expect to receive between 50 and 75 photos. Wedding galleries typically have between 700 and 1000 photos, depending on the wedding package chosen.

  • Trust me when I say, you don’t want all of the unedited photos. My job as a photographer is not only to take the photos, but deliver high quality photographs that are ready for a photo album. I’m positive you will be happy with the variety of photos you receive and their quality

  • At every wedding, I have two digital Nikon cameras, with multiple lens options. The cameras, along with any film cameras if you’ve chosen to add that one, are the beginning of the backing up process. I have multiple batteries and memory cards on me at all times. Once your wedding is over, I backup your photos to an external hard drive and don’t clear any of the memory cards until your wedding gallery is delivered to you. You will receive a digital gallery and a USB of the same photos so you have your own backup as well.
